EXO ‘Die Jungs’ Photobook Preview (Theme: German Orphans)
In the grand tradition of releasing photo books in the midst of scandal, EXO will be releasing their first photo book Die Jungs (I bet the person who came up with that thinks they’re so clever) on August 18. Though considering all the recent delays in K-POP, don’t take this post as solid ground. And as usual, since this is EXO, there will be FOUR versions of this book. What? Noooooo! There will be an EXO version ($69.99), an EXO-K version ($67.99) , an EXO-M version ($67.99), and a premium version ($229.99). Let me guess, they all account as the sales of one book? Right. Right. The EXO version includes a DVD and the premium version is compiled of all three photo books, the DVD, a case, and photo cards. It is limited edition (with only 10,000 being sold) and comes with a special surprise DNA item (I’m joking! I’m joking! Don’t buy it for that and then come back here screaming at me because you didn’t get Kai’s toenail or something.).
As usual, the EXO boys look like an interesting array of models in the pictures: some had very little to drink (Sehun) and others have had too much (I’m looking at you Chanyeol). No idea what the theme is supposed to be but I’m going to say German orphans in the city, who escaped a hellish orphanage and are now running around dressing like Mario and Luigi mafiosos and wearing Sesame street hats. I am not joking. Look at the teaser shots below.
